The 2024 Emmy Awards will be hosted by Eugene and Dan Levy.

Emmy Award winners Eugene and Dan Levy will be back hosting the ceremony! The two Schitt’s Creek actors were announced on Friday morning, making history as the first father-son duo to present the yearly ceremony celebrating the finest in television.

“For two Canadians who won our Emmys in a literal quarantine tent, the idea of being asked to host this year in an actual theater was incentive enough,

” the two of them said in a joint statement. “We’re thrilled to be able to raise a glass to this extraordinary season of television and can’t wait to spend the evening with you all.”

Dan, forty-one, has won four Emmy Awards, including one for writing, one for directing, one for supporting acting, and one for creating Schitt’s Creek.

While his son was winning the Schitt’s Creek Comedy Series and the Lead Actor award in 2020, his father was first honored with writing victories for the SCTV Network in 1982 and 1983.

The 2023 program, which was delayed by the strikes of actors and writers, finally aired in January of last year, with Anthony Anderson serving as host.
