Elon Musk once advised Maye Musk to invest $1,000 in equities.

Elon Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, said that when the Tesla CEO was only 14 years old, her son gave her investing advice.

Elon Musk suggested that she purchase shares in a firm that he “really believed in” over 35 years ago, the 74-year-old model said, even though the stockbroker said the move was a “bad idea.”

Following some stock selection guidance from the wealthiest person in the world, Maye Musk posted the aforementioned narrative on Twitter on May 1.
