The ‘all-ladies discussion program’ Rob Schneider is developing is ‘the reverse’ of The View, he claims.

Schneider said, “We’re going to compete with them, yeah,” when asked whether the program will purposefully compete with The View. If it’s the same time slot, I’m not sure.

That’s what’s going on right now, albeit we won’t reveal who is doing it just yet. It’s official, too. We are currently proceeding.

Entertainment Weekly’s request for comment on Wednesday was not immediately answered by a representative of The View.

The program will start recording episodes next month, according to Schneider, who has been a vocal conservative advocate in recent years, since the goal is to “start shooting shows before the inauguration.”

His staff has “a lot of women we like” in consideration, he added, but he would not comment on who may host the show. “It’s household names, and you’re going to love it,” he said.
