The body of a flight attendant who failed to report for duty was discovered in a hotel room.

The identity of the British Airways flight attendant who was discovered dead in a hotel room in San Francisco has been revealed.

The County Medical Examiner’s Office told PEOPLE that the crew member was Irfan Ali Mirza, 45. He was a resident of Britain.

“There is no additional information to disclose or further comment at this time,” the office of the medical examiner stated in a statement. We have informed Mirza’s next of kin.

The San Francisco Police Department tells PEOPLE that Mirza was discovered dead in a hotel on April 17 at approximately 2:21 p.m. local time. No indication of foul play was discovered by the responding officers.

According to The Standard and The Telegraph, the flight attendant arrived at the hotel two days before a planned return flight to the UK.
