She believes that giving her staff a mid-shift break makes everyone “happier, more relaxed and more focused” and increases their motivation and inventiveness.
“But masturbation break wasn’t only about trying to help my employees feel better in these trying times,” Erika said. Additionally, I wanted to take action to normalize masturbation more widely.
“Sexual wellbeing is deeply intertwined with your overall mental health and physical health and should be treated with the same respect and resources.”
Erika said that, as she had planned, several other businesses from all over the globe have “followed in her footsteps.”
Four years had passed after Erika Lust Films implemented the masturbation breaks, and in 2024, she shared her own experiences working for the company.
