I certainly hold myself accountable for some things, but I don’t believe I caused our unhappiness. It was clear that he was battling demons, but nobody was aware of it.

I’m struggling; a piece of me has gone forever. “I’m still dealing with a lot of things that make me feel like I’m reliving the same moment over and over again, which is really difficult.”

“He wouldn’t do anything to hurt me, and he didn’t do it to hurt me.” He likely believed that others would be better off without him for whatever reason.
