According to Isabel, some readers have attacked her for disclosing her husband’s tale and held her accountable for his passing.
Isabel now wants to help the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention by running the Chicago Marathon in October 2025 and spreading awareness about mental health.
Everyone is looking for an explanation. Nobody thinks that a wealthy, intelligent, attractive guy who has a wonderful life suddenly chooses to take his own life, Isabel said.
