The case of a woman who made a jest about having a skeleton in her garden that was actually her spouse is truly horrifying.

The neighbors of the recently deceased Leigh Ann Sabine were unaware of the unsettling murder case that would unravel when they went to retrieve what they believed to be a plastic skeleton from her garden.

Leigh had been informing her neighbors in the Welsh village of Beddau, Pontypridd for years that she had an ancient medical skeleton in her apartment, a reference to her previous work as a nurse.

The’skeleton’ was among the possessions of Leigh that were disposed of in a communal garden near her flat after her death in 2015. Michelle James, a neighbor, decided to retrieve the object and use it as a hoax on another neighbor.

The subsequent events are reminiscent of a horror story-style true crime.

Michelle and another neighbor began to open what they believed to be a corpse that was enveloped in plastic sheeting. However, they were shocked to find that it was actually a deceased individual.
