Others, however, wonder whether the NFL has grown even more politicized in its desire to remain politically neutral.
Once kneeling in quiet protest, players now have to deal with a league that has transitioned from grudging tolerance to outright tyranny.
The NFL’s announcement that “this season, there will be no wokeness” has completely destroyed any middle ground that may have been in the discussion.
