Marjorie tried her hand at TV sportscasting with ABC and CBS after moving to New York and having a short affair with tennis player Jimmy Connors.
She also had appearances in advertisements for American Express, Wella, and Ultra Brite. She married film producer Michael Klein in 1978 after meeting him at a party in 1977.
Adam was their son. She was one of the inaugural co-anchors of Entertainment Tonight in 1981, but she declined a reporter’s post a few months later.
