According to sources, Hackman’s daughters Elizabeth, 62, and Leslie, 58, as well as his son Christopher, 65, attended the couple’s burial ceremony.
Hackman and his first wife, Faye Maltese, who passed away in 2017, had three children together. From 1956 until their divorce in 1986, they were wed.
After seven years of dating, he and Arakawa eventually got married in 1991. Hackman said in his latter years that he regretted the time he spent away from his family on filming.
He said that since he was “gone so much” while his son Christopher was at a “stage where he needed support and guidance,” he “lost touch” with him.
