The cruise liner had organized a themed “sports battle day,” according to a guest who informed Daily Mail Australia.
Although there was a lot of “excitement” before the event, the Lido deck “went quiet” as the crew, who were presumably the ship’s housekeepers, left.
“Everyone was there, everyone gathered, it was advertised, there was a lot of noise and it went dead quiet, just silent,” the lady, who only identified herself as Terri, said.
“A lady sitting in front of me, her jaw dropped and she was like ‘what the hell’, everyone was like OMG – they were calling it the ‘KKK cruise’.”
She apparently addressed a fancy-dressed staff member, who informed her that they didn’t believe they had done anything wrong.
