Deputies started searching for the man, but at first they couldn’t find him. However, they later located his vehicle and presented a picture to the girl’s father.
He attested that the nude man on his daughter’s floor was Kramer. Two hours after being discovered by a drone, Kramer was taken into custody on suspicion of burglary, according to People.
Kramer admitted to police during interrogation that he had traveled 90 miles from Louisville to Florence in order to meet the girl that evening.
Additionally, according to the news outlet, he “made admissions which led to additional rape and sodomy charges.” In Kentucky, 16 is the legal age of consent. Deputies did not disclose if Kramer was aware that the girl was a child.
According to People, investigators added two counts of second-degree rape and one count of second-degree sodomy after his admissions.
Kramer has a $250,000 cash bond and is being held at Boone County Jail. On May 5, a preliminary hearing is set for him.
