The mother of a 19-year-old woman was compelled to listen to her daughter’s account of being mauled to death by bears in Russia over the phone.
In 2011, Olga Moskalyova regrettably lost her life when she and her stepfather, Igor Tsyganenkov, ventured to a river in
the village of Termalniy, located in the eastern region of Siberia, near Petropavlovsk Kamchatskiy.
Olga’s mother, Tatiana, was taken aback when she received a call from Olga during their excursion, as the duo had just returned from retrieving a fishing rod that Igor had previously left.
Tatiana heard her daughter say, “Mom, the bear is eating me!” when she answered the phone. Mother, it is an absolute torment. Mother, I need your assistance.
