A couple is registering to utilize a contentious double suicide pod, making them the first Britons to do so. After 46 blissful years of marriage,

Peter, 86, and Christine Scott, 80, are heading to Switzerland to pass away in one other’s arms inside the Sarco death capsule.

Christine, a former nurse, was diagnosed with early-stage vascular dementia, which prompted the choice.

It horrifies me to think that Chris’s mental faculties may gradually deteriorate as my own body deteriorates at the same time.
