According to Mr. Mohammed, his sister had “slipped” when he dialed 999. The contents of Mr. Mohammed’s text conversations to his girlfriend Sahar Fiaz,
in which he offered a different account, were later heard by the coroner. Last November, at a postponed inquest so that police might resume their probe, the texts were first read.
Writing, “I’ve killed Falaq,” Mr. Mohammed “What do you mean?” was Ms. Fiaz’s response. With a blow to her skull, he replied.
‘Why are you striking her for?’ Ms. Fiaz had subsequently inquired: “Idk” was Mr. Mohammed’s response.
