After surviving on chocolate while confined inside her house with the bodies of her mother and sibling, a young girl was discovered alive.
Following the discovery of the bodies of her mother Lisa Cotton, 38, and her brother Nazir Millen, 8, by Cotton’s eldest daughter, a four-year-old girl was discovered in her New York home last month.
After phoning Cotton’s 71-year-old father Hubert to see if she had moved out, their landlord had first sounded the alarm.
“I had been trying to call her for days and she never answered,” he told the New York Post. I assumed that she didn’t respond because she didn’t want to speak with me.
The awful discovery was made by Lisa’s oldest daughter, who was dispatched to the flat to check on them out of concern.
Nazir, who had been born too soon and was crippled, was slumped in his chair near a feeding tube when she arrived.
