The heartbreaking last social media post of a 17-year-old who was stabbed by a teenager during a track meet

A 17-year-old high school athlete from Texas who was tragically stabbed at a track and field event has shared his last social media post.

On April 2, a terrible event occurred in Frisco that left a town in shock and two families heartbroken. Austin Metcalf, a talented football player and junior at Frisco Memorial High School,

Lost his life after being stabbed once in the chest during a fight with Karmelo Anthony, a 17-year-old student from Frisco Centennial High School.

The altercation apparently started over seating arrangements after a rain delay and broke out behind a school tent at Kuykendall Stadium just after 10:00 AM.

Metcalf had requested that Anthony relocate his position under the pop-up tent, per an arrest warrant document that NBC DFW was able to acquire.
