Although recent research suggests that the pop star’s endorsement may not have a significant impact on voters’ choices at the polls,
Democrats are hoping that Taylor Swift’s recent endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris would spur more young people to cast ballots in November.
Following the presidential debate on Tuesday, Swift, a vocal opponent of the late President Trump, backed Harris. Pop legend Harris wrote,
“Childless cat lady,” in an Instagram image that she signed. Harris “fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.”
From the debate spin room, California Governor Gavin Newsom told Fox News Digital that the endorsement “matters.”
