The incorrect guy was chosen by an armed suspect to carjack. The carjacker was unaware that the driver was not your typical victim, and things swiftly changed as the suspect dragged him from his car.

In Philadelphia, an armed carjacker chose the wrong driver to rob since the victim, a prison officer, 59, had been prepared for such an incident. According to Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small,

Who spoke to WCAU-TV, the victim informed responding authorities that he had left a friend’s home just before 11 p.m. and gotten into his white Toyota Avalon automobile.

Small told the channel that the victim “was carjacked” after being dragged from his car at gunpoint. According to WPVI-TV, the carjacker was dressed in a sweatshirt and surgical mask.

But the off-duty prison officer’s instincts obviously took over, and he wasn’t going to let the thief to go with his Toyota Avalon unharmed.

According to Small, the victim drew his own firearm and fired at least five times at the suspect as the carjacker entered the vehicle,
