The long-standing claim that Brian Austin Green “groomed” his ex-wife Megan Fox when she was eighteen is finally addressed.

Speaking out against allegations that he “groomed” the Transformers actress, Brian Austin Green acknowledges that his breakup with Megan Fox in 2015 “killed” him.

Green, 51, and Fox, 38, dated intermittently until getting married in 2010 after first meeting on the set of the ABC drama Hope & Faith in 2004.

The former pair first split up in 2015 before reconciling a year later. They were 18 and 31, respectively, when they started courting.

They did, however, file for divorce a second time in 2020. Green eventually became engaged to ballroom dancer Sharna May Burgess, 39, while Fox later dated Machine Gun Kelly, 35.

The actor has responded to allegations that he “groomed” the Jennifer’s Body star when he was younger in a recent update.

Green revealed to co-hosts Randy Spelling and Burgess on Monday’s episode of his Old-ish podcast that he and Fox dated after he had already given birth to his 23-year-old son Kassius with his 56-year-old ex-partner, Vanessa Marcil.

At such a young age, he said, “she became very responsible for his well-being and was involved in all of the legal stuff that was going on with Vanessa and I.”
