The brothers and Geragos will return to the court next week to request a fresh sentence after Hochman’s move to dismiss the resentencing petition was ultimately refused.
Geragos referred to Friday’s hearing outside of court as maybe Erik and Lyle’s “biggest day since they’ve been in custody.”
Additionally, he chastised the D.A.’s Office for shocking the Menendez family members who were in court to support Erik and Lyle by displaying graphic murder scene pictures.
Cooper Koch, who portrayed Erik in Ryan Murphy’s Netflix series “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” entered the courtroom.
