However, opinions on the story and the actors seemed to differ among viewers. The author’s opinion was that it was enjoyable. Was able to sit through it undistracted, but I doubt I’ll be watching it again anytime soon.
“Brilliant film, I thought!” was the response of another. One more person chimed in: “Joey King was fantastic, in my view!” What a charming plot! On the other hand, some people weren’t too excited about it and even called it uninteresting.
“Cringey as fudge,” another person said. One person said, “It was awful and corny,” while another said, “It was actually unpleasant to watch.”
Some felt it was too similar to The Idea of You, Anne Hathaway’s previous Amazon romantic comedy, while others thought the film was too derivative.
