3:11 PM PT Artem Chigvintsev was freed at 2:18 PM PT, according county records. We now know how the alarm went off when someone contacted 911 from Artem Chigvintsev’s residence.
According to sources close to the inquiry, TMZ received a call at about 8:30 AM reporting a “medical emergency” at the residence. It’s not evident who called.
Someone from the residence contacted 911 once again to rescind the request while the fire brigade and paramedics were on their way.
Although they did not provide an explanation, we have heard that the fire department and paramedics left the residence and went back to their posts.
Artem was taken into custody around 10 AM on a felony charge of bodily harm to a spouse or cohabitant. The injuries must be evident for an arrest to be made for a crime.
