The precise amount of oral sex that can increase your risk of throat cancer, which is now the main cause, is revealed by a doctor.

Since sexual activity is the primary cause of throat cancer, a doctor has determined the precise amount of oral sex that can increase your risk of getting the disease.

The Mesothelioma Center estimates that 54,010 persons in America will receive a diagnosis of oral and oropharyngeal cancer over their lifetime, with males being twice as likely as women to have the disease.

Both smoking and being infected with the human papillomavirus (HPV), which is one of the most prevalent STIs and a group of more than 100 viruses, can raise the risk of throat cancer.

According to one expert, the more oral sex partners you have, the higher your risk of developing oropharyngeal cancer. Some people may even acquire cancer as a result of HPV.

In The Conversation, Dr. Hisham Mehanna of the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom stated: ”

Throat cancer has rapidly increased in the West over the last 20 years, to the point where some have referred to it as an epidemic.

“The prevailing theory is that most of us catch HPV infections and are able to clear them completely,” Mehanna stated.
