On the set of Y&R, Hartley met his wife, Sofia Pernas. In 2021, they got married. Egan told Us that the Y&R family is close-knit, even if not everyone finds love on set.
She said, “We’ve all become such good friends.” In real life, we host baby showers for one another. We look out for one another. Here, people really care about one another;
We support one another at both the joys and the losses. Being an actor is fantastic, and the storylines are a lot of fun, but the greatest part is truly the friendships you make.
Egan also spoke about the “lovely” and “amazing” fans of the program, claiming that “hundreds” of them contacted her after Chelsea’s 2022 suicide attempt during season 50 of Y&R.
