The turmoil surrounding Linkin Park continues as Jaime, the son of Chester Bennington, criticizes band co-founder Mike Shinoda for selecting Emily

Armstrong to be the group’s new lead vocalist, making it obvious that Jaime does not think Armstrong should take over for his father seven years after his passing.

In a long Instagram post on Monday, Jaime blasted Mike for “quietly erasing my father’s life and legacy in real time… during international suicide prevention month,

” accusing him of breaching the confidence of his audience by employing Emily. In 2017, Chester took his own life. Jaime didn’t hold back, attacking Emily’s purported membership in Scientology and

her endorsement of Danny Masterson. All of this became apparent once texts from Cedric Bixler-Zavala of The Mars Volta reappeared.
