Speaking on an Australian podcast for Mamamia’s The Quicky in 2019, Mr. Ketsoyan said that fictitious relationships
are often created when someone has a movie or other project to promote or divert attention from unflattering news, such as a project failure.
“It’s about being able to sell the hype of it,” he said at the time, “whether it’s a concert, album, or getting people to go see the movie, it’s all about the hype at the moment.”
