The tragic last moments of a 2-year-old boy who died in a sledding accident are revealed via a 911 call.

 

“I don’t believe he’s doing well. I’m afraid. The caller sobbed, “I don’t want him to die.” Crews made a valiant effort to rescue Ayden.

In an attempt to save Ayden, first responders and citizens collaborated, according to a press release from the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office. Emergency personnel found a toddler.

In the water when they arrived. After being taken right away to a nearby hospital, the youngster passed away from wounds received during the event, according to the press statement.

Although the sheriff’s office said that it would not be disclosing any more details, it did add that the cause of death seemed to be connected to a sledding mishap.

Ayden is sorely missed by his mother. The unknown caller pleaded for assistance. On Facebook, Angel Sasser posted Ayden’s obituary along with the words, “My baby.”
