If Kamala Harris were to win the 2024 presidential election, President Biden is concerned about the reaction of Donald Trump and his followers, and it does not bode well.
The question asked of Joe Biden in his first television interview since dropping out of the race was if he was certain that
the next president will take office peacefully after the certification of the election results in January. Biden answered in the affirmative. In response, Biden said, “If Trump loses, I’m not confident at all.”
Also, the president expressed his worries about Republican oversight of vote tallying in swing states and claimed to take Trump at his word on threats of a “bloodbath” in the event of another Trump loss.
In March, at a campaign event in Ohio, Trump threatened a “bloodbath” if he lost the election; Biden is referring to that speech.
