Haines went on to say that she “step[s] away” when needed and “check[s] in” with herself for her own mental health.
“However, it will never be the deciding factor because toxic personalities are a bad personality feature that is shared by all of us, regardless of political allegiance.
Therefore, regardless of your motivation, I would never allow politics to be the reason I miss seeing my family because they won’t always be there.”
Hostin then expressed her opinions, stating that she disagrees because she thinks values, not politics, are at issue.
“I really do feel that this candidate, President-elect Trump is just a different type of candidate — from the things he’s said and the things.
He’s done and the things he will do — it’s more of a moral issue for me, and I think it’s a moral issue for a lot of people,” she said.
