Mick and Mairead devised a plan to set fire to the home and frame Lisa because they were upset that his ex-lover had denied him certain advantages.
The city was forced to purchase a new home for Mick, who was meant to seem heroic by letting the house burn for a while before saving their sleeping children. Unfortunately, nothing went as planned.
Tragically, while the apartment burnt, Mick and Miread’s kids perished from smoke inhalation. The fire claimed the lives of Jade, 10, John, 9, Jack, 7, Jesse, 6, and Jayden, 5.
But when Mick had to be persuaded to see his sick son by support personnel, 13-year-old Duwayne died in the hospital.
The couple’s strange conduct and crocodile tears raised suspicions, even though they accused an enigmatic murderer for setting their house on fire. At night, Mick and Mairead were having fun.
