Years have passed since it ended. As several others have said, your mind is often attempting to tell you that something is wrong when you believe that someone isn’t “the one.”
After a few years, I came to the realization that despite his best efforts, my emotional needs were just not being satisfied.
Even though I was drawn to him, I didn’t want to sleep with him when things became difficult since he wasn’t my physical type.
Compared to before, I now place a higher value on physical attractiveness and emotional connection.
