Oddly enough, this is not the first time a lover’s life has been seriously damaged by a love bite. A lovebite in 2011 caused a stroke that left a 44-year-old New Zealand woman largely paralysed.
In fact, doctors have warned that “lovebites” might endanger your life! However, why? What then became of the teenager?
The ailment kept the physicians puzzled for some time, even with regard to the lady from New Zealand.
Until they discovered a fading bruise on the right side of her neck that rested over a damaged main artery, they were unable to determine the cause of death.
“To my knowledge, it’s the first time someone has been hospitalised by a hickey,” said Dr. Teddy Wu, who provided treatment for the New Zealander.
