Three are killed in a small plane crash in Boca Raton, Florida, according to police.

 

Photographs taken at the scene depict the burned-out vehicle wedged between two trees, with white foam engulfing the surrounding area. Across the road, debris from the aircraft is visible.

According to Boca Fire Rescue assistant fire chief Michael LaSalle, the plane “had apparently some mechanical issues.”

According to LaSalle, one of the men in the vehicle had non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the FAA, it had just left Boca Raton Airport and was traveling to Tallahassee International Airport.

Police in Boca Raton acknowledged that an aircraft had crashed, but they did not elaborate.
