The teenager, a trainee psychologist, reportedly said, “Mom, the bear is eating me!” to Daily Mail. Mom, it hurts so much. Mom, please assist!”
Tatiana said that while at first she assumed her daughter was making a joke, she soon realized that Olga was engaged in a life-threatening battle over the phone.
“But then I heard the real horror and pain in Olga’s voice, and the sounds of a bear growling and chewing,” she said. “I could have died then and there from shock.”
The mother was unaware at the time that her husband had already been slain by the violent beast, which had shattered his skull and smashed his neck. After seeing the assault, Olga attempted to flee, but the mother bear seized her leg.
According to the magazine, Olga informed her mother during one of the conversations that the “bears are back,” stating that the mother bear “came back and brought her three babies…they’re… eating me.”
After the phone was cut off, a terrified Tatiana called the local police in the hamlet and begged them to come to the river where the terrible event was happening.
