Three children were murdered in an Amish buggy accident while traveling to school.

This week, an SUV rear-ended the horse-drawn Amish cart that three siblings were riding to school, killing them.

The youngsters, who were nine, ten, and thirteen years old, perished close to Bremen, Indiana, which is around twenty miles south of South Bend.

How did the kids fare? What we know: The three kids were ejected after a 17-year-old’s Mercedes SUV collided with the rear of the cart as they were on route to school,

According to The Kansas City Star. According to authorities, the SUV driver was unharmed, but the youngsters perished at the site.

What is unknown is whether the SUV driver will be charged for the collision. Indiana is seeing an increase in buggy accidents. Look more closely:

According to Amish America, Indiana has the third-largest Amish population in the world. The state is home to around 63,000 Amish as of 2024.
