Alexa Bartell, 20, died after a rock broke through her car window while she was driving, and a Colorado man was found guilty of first-degree murder-extreme disregard.
On Friday, April 25, a jury also convicted 20-year-old Joseph Koenig of several charges, including assault in the second degree.

According to Kelly Bartell, Alexa’s mother, “It’s hard to be happy or feel satisfied that justice was served today,” the Gazette reported.
It doesn’t make up for the beautiful life that was lost. Additionally, three more people were affected and lost.
