Together with Elon Musk, Mel Gibson and Mark Wahlberg invest $1–3 billion in a “not-woke” film studio that upholds traditional family values.

According to the founders, their idea runs directly against what they perceive to be the widespread “woke culture” in the motion picture business.

The studio wants to make movies that put moral bravery, faith, family, and unity above political messages. According to Gibson,

Wahlberg, and Musk, their project aims to reach an underserved audience of viewers who are disenfranchised by the recent ideological changes in Hollywood.

“This aims to revive cinema’s soul,” Gibson said in a recent press statement.
