the LaPlata Blue Knights will play in Declan’s honor. His number will be displayed on the helmets of all tackle football players, and all cheerleaders and flag bearers will be given patches.
It means a lot to us that every single SMYAC club has volunteered to wear Declan’s jersey number in his honor. Let Declan rest in dignity; he will be remembered fondly and as a Blue Knight for all time.
