Tragic tragedy claims life of cheerleading captain only weeks away from high school graduation

Flores was about to graduate from high school and embark on an exciting new journey during her senior year. A gap year was in her plans.

Stephanie Flores, her mother, claimed that her daughter intended to work and save up so that she could visit areas she had never seen.

As a graduation present from Uncle Jon, she was looking forward to a summer trip to Washington, D.C. They were excited to visit it together since they both loved history.

She was also making preparations to visit the beach on the west coast with her best pals. Unfortunately, the young lady will never see the beach or get her graduation.

“The bane of every parent’s existence” Angelina Bartz, 21, was driving a Ford Focus that Flores was riding in on May 18. Katarina Bartz, 19, was also a passenger.

The Rochester Police Department (RPD) reports that a state trooper going eastward hit Flores’ car as it was turning south into Apache Mall, heading west.
