“If you were to describe her [in] one word it would be fierce,” her mother adds, describing her daughter as bold. And when I say that, what I really mean is that she would give her all to pursue her passions.
Christian, Olivia’s brother and a baseball player for the Owatonna Thunder, is a tenth grader. Olivia adored him. Her most impressive cheering abilities were reserved for him.
Stephanie went on to talk about her daughter, whose cheerleading role was that of a flyer, and how she made sure her son heard her cheering him on at every game, just as he did for her.
At the same time, the cheerleading community is mourning the loss of a “bright star.” We must bid farewell to beloved Olivia with heavy hearts.
She was an incredible friend, cheerleader, and human being. “She had a profound impact on so many people’s lives, and her positive influence will continue to shape ours,” wrote the Owatonna Huskies Cheerleading Team in a Facebook tribute to her.
