Trump fires back at FBI director who cast doubt on whether assassination attempt bullet struck his ear

After the head of the FBI questioned whether the bullet struck his ear during the assassination attempt earlier this month, Donald Trump offered a harsh reaction.

On Thursday, the 78-year-old former president took to social media to criticize Christopher Wray, who had cast doubt on whether Thomas Matthew Crooks’ gunshot truly struck the 78-year-old at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

This follows Wray’s previous day of addressing questions over the Republican presidential nominee’s ear wound during a House Judiciary Committee hearing.

His statement was in answer to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan’s inquiry on the eight rounds fired on July 13, and he addressed the topic of whether former President Trump’s ear was struck by a bullet or shrapnel.
The business magnate wasted no time slamming the head of the FBI on Truth Social after someone cast doubt on the veracity of his injuries. Trump was obviously unimpressed.
