Trump Stuns Ramaphosa with Video Claiming ‘Genocide’ in South Africa During White House Meeting

The footage allegedly showed mass graves and inflammatory speeches from South African political figures, claiming to depict over 1,000 white farmers killed in violent attacks.

Trump suggested the clips were evidence of land seizures and targeted killings, reiterating past claims that white South Africans are facing persecution.

“People are fleeing South Africa for their own safety,” Trump said. “Their land is being confiscated, and in many cases they’re being killed.”

He added that the U.S. is open to accepting individuals from regions where “persecution or genocide” is occurring.

Ramaphosa Pushes Back

President Ramaphosa responded calmly but firmly, stating that he was unfamiliar with the video and strongly rejected its implications.

“I’d like to know where that is, because this… I’ve never seen,” Ramaphosa said during the exchange.
