In front of about 180 people at the Advocates, Counselors and Representatives for the Disabled convention in Chicago.
Biden was presented by former Maryland Governor and Social Security Administrator Martin O’Malley.
“I won’t go any farther and end up in trouble.”
Biden remarked wearily early in his speech, shifting his focus from criticizing the current White House’s cuts to praising his own achievements as president to improve Social Security.
Biden later remarked, “The last time this guy was in office, he raised the debt ceiling because of a huge and wasteful tax cut to the super wealthy.”
