Two Teens Share Horrifying Details Of Their 16-Hour Inflatable Paddleboard Ocean Adventure

 

A group of four men who were out on the lake when they spotted the girls were among the local boaters who were called in to assist with the rescue.

Gary Bartell, one of those rescuers, told Inside Edition that the fact that the girls were on a paddleboard really aided in directing their search.

He told the network, “That changed the whole perspective on where to search in our heads,””Knowing that with an inflatable object like that you’re going to follow the wind pattern less than the current pattern.”

Surprisingly, Bartell, Will Pauling, and the other two men found the two teenagers within thirty minutes of their search.

“They asked us, ‘Are you two the missing girls?'” I recall. and I said, “I believe so? What are the names of them?

Bryan and Aponte were so tired and cold that they were barely able to stand when they were rescued. Before they could be hurried to the hospital, the rescuers had to carry them to safety.

E Online said that the teenagers were treated for both dehydration and hypothermia at the hospital.
