According to Amanda, the family is “working through the rollercoaster of grief, anger, sadness and other emotions that come with such a tragic loss.
” They have donated almost $25,000 AUD thus far. Amanda had nothing but praise for her dad, saying he “lived for his grandkids” in a 7News interview.
She went on to say that he had an incredible relationship with Thomas. “When he collapsed, I thought at the time he must’ve just been so overcome with grief.”
She continued by calling her dad “a beautiful man.” “Dad was a genuine role model for so many, a true gentleman, a man of honesty, integrity, and respect,” she said.
In addition, the bereaved mother was expected to carry on with her son’s legacy of DIPG awareness by continuing to do so.
