Unsettling Video: Police Are Drawn to a Horrible Scene by a Woman’s Screams

Wilson and the man have a 1-year-old daughter together. Police arrested her former boyfriend, Moises May, 36, two days after she was rescued, partially fulfilling her goal.

May faced charges of kidnapping, wanton endangerment, assault (domestic violence), physical harassment, terroristic threats, and intimidating a court participant. He was ordered to be jailed on a bond of $100,000.

Jonna Wilson’s survival is a blessing. We have very little doubt that Moises May would have fulfilled his pledge to kill her when he got home if he had been ready to beat her, burn her clothes, bind her to the ground.

And chop off her hair with a machete. May was denied the opportunity by Louisville Metro Police Department officers and Wilson’s own will to live.

But not all victims of domestic abuse are given the opportunity to tell their survival tale. Rather, many people never get away from their tormentor. Stories like this one must be told for that reason.
