The Clayton County District Attorney stated Friday that the convicted Georgia murderer who was unintentionally freed from a Georgia prison is now back in custody.

In 2024, he was found guilty of felony murder and aggravated assault and given a life sentence. An escapee from Alabama was apprehended at BUC-EE’s in Texas, more than 600 miles away.
