US passports impacted by Trump’s new gender executive order.

One of Trump’s first actions following his inauguration speech was signing an executive order titled “Defense of Women against

Gender ideology and restoring the Biological Truth to the Federal Government,” along with decrees pertaining to immigration, employment, and environment policy.

The decision established during the Biden administration, which let neo-fault persons to choose “X” as a gender mark on the waist, will essentially be overturned by this new policy.

Trump’s directive mandates that just two gender categories—women and men—will be recognized by government agencies going forward, based on biological sex at birth.

Non-binary, genderqueer, and other gender identity individuals will be directly impacted by this move since they will no longer be

Able to select the neutral “X” on any federal identification documents, such as birth certificates, passports, and other official records.
