This week’s positive viral test was a blow for the 81-year-old’s re-election bid. President Biden tested positive for COVID-19 earlier today,
after his first appearance in Las Vegas, according to White House communications secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
The Telegraph reports that he is suffering moderate symptoms and has been vaccinated and boosted.
“He will be going back to Delaware, where he’ll be completely self-sufficient and will keep on top of all his responsibilities during that time,” she said.
